Been a year since I last logged on here. 
 
Anyhoo, I was recently loaned Brutal Legend. That game with Jack Black, created by Tim Schafer. You know, that Psychonauts guy. 
 
Pleasant surprise this one. I thought it was going to be pretty mediocre. It's an excellent game with a creative storyline, very good voice acting and actually very good and fluent gameplay. The only gripes I have with the game are the at-times very frustrating battles. (Ophelia vs Riggs #1 at the snow stage or whatever) 
 
Pretty good. 
 
Unlike Prison Break: The Conspiracy. That game blows.

I actually thought this was going the DRIV3R route. I was wrong, whilst the game is imperfect I thought (from the demo I played) it was fun. 3.5/5

I might get this one.

At least it was better than that worthless Fracture.

I can't tell what's been more dissapointing so far in 2009, Noby Noby Boy or Killzone 2, I'll have to go with KZ2. This game looked kickass. After playing KZ1 and KZ Liberation, I was so hyped up. Unfortunately even my hype could not let me enjoy this game. Without the helghast it would be another unoriginal fps. Level design is too linear, and whats with the grenades changing colors? The AI could not get any stupid either, I was crouching behind a wall, and firing at a helghan taking cover, then the helghan gets out of his hiding place and goes around to the other side of the block....the one in front of me. Wow.

KZ2 = 3 out of 5 stars for a good plot and great graphics, but unfortunately neither of those make the game less boring and unoriginal.

What's happening gamers?

First post on this site. Yeah, might as well start off with one phrase that will let you know if you like my taste in gaming or not.

The phrase is as follows: I actually hated GTA IV.

Hate me if you will, just getting my PS3 this christmas, I had a chance to try out the game. Believe me, I hated it so much.

Driving controls sucked, the story in my opinion was very very uninteresting to me. I did like going up skyscrapers though.

Believe me when I say that LittleBigPlanet is the best game on PS3 right now.

Although I do admit, Metal Gear Solid 4 and BioShock are tied for second. (Another phrase which will divide my taste in gaming from yours most likely)
