Can someone fill me in on why having GDC in August is scoffed at in that extreme fashion? Is it San Francisco in Summer or do they think that Virus situation won’t get better by then?

On the Beastcast, I laughed myself silly at the intro When G starts talking about taking sniping position.
Man this gives me flashbacks to Crisis Core where the game looked amazing from pre-release footages and even the first few hours, only to realise how shallow, manipulative and frankly underwhelming experience the thing was. Maybe because I never played FF7, but I am talking about the gameplay.
I would have been excited if this came out on he Switch. Hopefully Samurai Shodown is as inviting to new fighting game players like this game. Been looking forward to a simplified fighting engine as a person who don't enjoy fighting games in general because of its complexity.
