Stop trying to defend the developers piss poor decisions for not allowing you to pause a video game, make a competent driving model or even give a reason to play this game co-op.
It's silly to me to think that they haven't actually accounted for this kind of gameplay decision. Not being able to pause does not mean you can never walk away from the game ever. Large aspects of this game are menu driven to think there are never any safe places to do that would be such an obvious misstep that it is hard to believe that that would be how it worked. Maybe it's fair to say hold off judgment until the game comes out and we can confirm how it works. Or if the decision itself turns you off that much then the game isn't for you and that's ok too.

I disagree with 99% of things you say but I respect someone who is really upfront about who they are. I would like to have a genuine conversation with you on politics through private messaging so we don't run the risk of locking down these comment sections or getting comments deleted. I think you would come to notice you have more in common with a lefty like me than you think and not all of us are the caricatures I often see you paint us as. And I'm sure there is more to your identity then the standard conservative messages I see you echo on this website.

Mike Rowe seems like a genuinely good guy. this whole "i think i saw a questionable thing on twitter once so now hes a bad person" shit is getting ridiculous.
Somone off the cuff saying they heard Mike Rowe express some troubling opinions is not the same thing as saying he is a bad person or advocating that people should think he is a bad person. Your connotation leap here seems more ridiculous to me then what Brad actually said.
The guys usually do a pretty good job of not being political, because that's got nothing to do with video games, which is what brings us together here. Very sorry to see it pop up here and I hope it's a one off and not a trend. First time in a long time I'm not watching a GB video I started to the end.

Count me in as one of the people that liked the feature though I 100% understand why others don't like it and why it needs to either go or be tweaked. Either way, I'm sure this will be worked out in the future to provide a better experience for all involved.

Unsurprisingly, Dan again raves about a game because he loves the franchise. This might be a great game but these grand statements like "it can provide all of the positive qualities of the franchise’s past while expanding on and evolving them in every conceivable way" just tell me Dan is franchise-gasiming more than anything.
Dan literally has 2 reviews - "I love it because I love it" or "It's utter garbage and the worst thing ever". Should move from the 5 star system to just a simple 1 or 0 score. 1 is best ever (AKA any 80s-90s franchise Dan played) and 0 is the rest.
Dan gave the new South Park a 4, Agents of Mayhem a 2, Arms a 3, RE 7 a 4, Paper Mari: Color Splash a 2, Ratchet & Clank a 4, Star Fox Zero a 2, Xcom 2 a 3, and Battlefront a 3. He has more 4-2 reviews than anything else on this site. That's not counting the vast amount of middle of the road reviews he wrote at other outlets.
Also, I'm not sure what "franchise-gasiming" is but it doesn't actually sound like a thing.
