Much better tech than the last one. And, so far as I can tell, they fixed my biggest gripe with the first one which was the infuriatingly cheap enemy AI.
I don't understand why this is DLC. Considering that console fighting games usually lack "stuff to do", they should be putting as much as they can on the disc.
NfsHP's UI is incredibly confounding. There's a logic to it, but that logic is steeped in madness.
As to killing the brand; NFS should have been dead along time ago. I do think it sucks that EA is starting to use the Freemium model for a game I payed $60 for. It's very distasteful.
@GilbertMordinAndSullivan: Same here, can't beat that damn Omega level (last level before the "final" boss), but I also love it to it's dark black heart.
To me the most depressing aspect is the requirements for unlocking characters. I would have liked to be able to choose the unlock rather than be saddled with useless characters like alien hominid.
Halo CE was great because it was novel. All the sequels tried to match it's impact, buy have only made the franchise stale and predictable. This franchise needs to move on, not chase it's tail.
