If the unedited video came out first, no one would be discussing what ThePro said. I guarantee that. Maybe I'd make a bad customer service rep, but if a kid said half that stuff about my grandmother, I'd have to respond in some manner. I thought he did a good job keeping it (somewhat) civil.

To pass judgment on the mod before watching the unedited video is utterly uninformed. I'm no prude, but the shit that poured out of that little kid's mouth (along with his blatant cheating in front of a mod).. well, if you're still on the kid's side after watching the real video, I don't know what to say about you..
I love playing as many different titles as I possibly can, and I've found that buying new games is way too expensive for that philosophy. I keep up with the latest games by reading reviews and previews and stuff, but I'm usually about a year behind retail. I'm just now getting some earlier 2009 games. I like it this way, because for every new game I could get for $60, I can get 3 or 4 less current games. I think this entertainment medium is strange compared to others in that it moves on so quickly. They were talking about Mass Effect 3 within a week of Mass Effect 2 coming out, for God's sake.
@Heartagram: Absolutely rent it. You may find the gameplay annoying, or you may not care because the story and characters pull you through. But it's definitely worth experiencing for yourself. I'm glad I checked it out, despite bad press. My recommendation is to play it on the easiest difficulty setting, though, as the difficult aiming and cover system can bog down the momentum of the awesome story.
