I think the MAG Beta is pretty good, to be honest. Graphically, it's a lot better than I expected it to be. Remember, the beta doesn't represent the quality of the full game.
When I was using an LCD Monitor for my XBOX 360, it only had one HDMI input which I was already using for my PS3 so I just used component cables for the 360. Now that I have a proper HDTV with more than one HDMI input, I have my 360 through a HDMI cable as well. In all honesty though, there really isn't that much of a difference. So, a component cable should do the trick.
