I haven't played Fez in a long while so I believe I missed this patch the first time around. What did it address in the first place? I didn't personally have any technical issues aside from the slight occasional stutter in scene transitions (which I can deal with). I think I'll just stick with the vanilla version of the game, if theres a chance this 'patch' messes with your save.

Any streams or is it just live blogs available?

I really love Civilization 5, great time to jump in with the expansion just coming out. Also Amnesia.

Especially bad timing on my part; I became a premium member last month for the first time. It's been awesome catching up on all the content I had missed out on in the past, but yeah things seemed decidedly barren in the past while, which is a bummer. As for the earlier arguments, I'm in the camp that expects content for my subscription. It's not about entitlement or pandering - you're customers paying for a service. If it was about donations I would have taken to the tip jar in the store.

That being said, I really think they should consider adopting a formal schedule for premium content. They have a number of defined 'shows' or segments as it stands now (Random PC Game, Radio Dave, TNT, Load our Last Save, Breaking Brad, etc.) it would be cool if they could commit to rotating one of these at a time into the weekly or bi-weekly mix along with their regular content and other random, more spontaneous features (Let's play Day-Z, etc.).

Just my two cents. I'm not necessarily hurting at $5 a month, and it's good to see a step in the right direction with the return of Breaking Bad.

Watching the old SNES party videos and they brought up the Big Red Phone. It sounded like an awesome feature, although I wasn't a subscriber at the time it was around. Were any calls ever archived or did I miss the boat? In any case hope they consider something like this again someday, seemed fun.

Went in totally blank and ended up liking it quite a bit. Offered some good tension and cringe-worthy moments (that operation...man). I admit to not having the hugest attachment to the Alien franchise and there were a few questionable aspects - knowing things were going to go bad at some point I kept thinking 'put your helmets back on' a few dozen times - but it was well shot, interesting, and subject of some good conversation and interpretation with my friends afterwards. Enjoyable, at least in my opinion.

@Aarownd: Yeah I was surprised playing again last summer how much easier the water temple was. I guess it just really blew my mind as a 7 year old.

And I agree on your other points, fakers are lame in any capacity. I play a lot of games myself but I don't even think of myself as a 'gamer' (that term is cringe-worthy to me), and I don't feel the need to advertise it because I find it kind of obnoxious and pointless. Case in point is how a lot of big media 'girl gamer' figures go out of their way to constantly remind you they're into games...

Yep, same. I don't really have the patience to browse forums much anymore (not sure why) so I just pop into whatever's under Site Activity if it's of interest.
