For me this one is way better. The DS one seems lacking in comparison. Though I will admit, I like that there's more to do with the special coins on the DS version.
I like Yoshi but I don't love Yoshi (he never buys me flowers) so I'm glad he's in the game but restricted. Perhaps a few more Yoshi levels would have been nice though.
