Not very much roguelike going on here, though I can certainly understand why you might think that. It's in real time, so more like Zelda in that regard, but it's more of an rpg than Zelda is. The death mechanic is nowhere near as frustrating as roguelikes can be as you get to keep half the xp from the dungeon, but everything else from the dungeon is lost ... though you still have everything that came before the dungeon. The game isn't randomly generated, though there is a bottomless dungeon that is randomly generated, but it functions like the Item World in Disgaea as it's not necessary, but entirely useful." Kind of interesting, but it looks like a roguelike, which I'm not a huge fan of. Might give it a shot. "
Looking forward to some hands on impressions. I might jump on this, but I may just wait. I don't know.
