Yep. Just a little thinking out loud, that's all.
The tables are still there if someone wants to create separate events or just figure out the best time to race with their friends from around the world. It could be handy for a GB GT friend thread or something, if someone makes something like that.

Anyway: as it stands now, it's best for most people if the race night is held around 12-13 (12-1 PM) PST on Saturday. That way, Europeans can join the fun and Australians (in Victoria) can join up if they want as they're probably awake at midnight Saturday anyway.

BST/UTC(London)CET(Berlin)  ACDT(Adelaide)*PST(Los Angeles)EST(New York)
    23:00 (11PM) 00:0009:30 (9.30AM)* 15:00 (3PM) 18:00 (6PM)

*Sunday morning

I don't know. I'm in CET, and I personally have no problem with being up late on Saturday night, but I realize others might not want that. And I doubt many Aussie's are too keen on being up at 03.00, 07.00 and 09.30..

How about splitting it up in groups?

Here are some examples:

West Coast US and Australia:
Los AngelesVictoriaPerthAdelaide
 Sat 23.00 (11 PM) Sun 11.00 (11 AM) Sun 15.00 (3 PM) Sun 17.30 (5.30 PM)

USA and Europe (same day across regions):
Los Angeles (PST)Chicago(CST)New York (EST)London (BST, UTC+0)Paris(CET)
 12.00 (noon) 14.00 (2 PM) 15.00 (3 PM) 20.00 (8 PM) 21.00 (9 PM)

Europe and Australia (same day across regions):
LondonParisVictoriaPerthAdelaide
 11.00 (11 AM) 12.00 (noon) 15.00 (3 PM) 19.00 (7 PM) 21.30 (9.30 PM)

East Coast US and Australia doesn't work too well, but if you're interested it would look something like this:
New YorkVictoriaPerthAdelaide
    Sat 09.00 (9AM)Sat 18.00 (6 PM)  Sat 22.00 (10 PM)Sun 00.30 (12.30 AM)
   Sun 00.00 (Midnight)Sun 09.00 (9 AM) Sun 13.00 (1 PM)Sun 15.30 (3.30 PM)

Again, these are just examples. All times can obviously be pushed an hour or two backwards or forwards, but I just picked something that seemed somewhat reasonable for everyone.

If someone makes a thread with all participants and where they live, we can change things up a little (for example, if there's only a handful of people in one part of Australia and they are willing to stay up late or wake up early, we could find a time that fits for the whole world*).

*I haven't included any Asian countries, as I haven't seen any interest for it yet, but if there's some Japanese or Indian players who wants in just shout out and I'll make a table for you guys as well. Or you can make one yourself, the meeting planner on Timeanddate.com is handy for this.

As for the day, I vote Sunday for US-EU and EU-AUS.

PC players should take a look at this list of mods. Some of those mods fixes some of the broken or illogical stuff. The first one was taken down or something unfortunately, but mirrors can be found by searching for "Fallout New Vegas community bug fix" in your favorite interwebs search engine. If you have found a good mod that fixes something broken or annoying, please add it to the list.

Anyone figure out how to make this work with PMS (PS3 Media Server)?
I've been messing around for about 4 hours now, and I've finally gotten video streaming to work somewhat (long story short: go here). YouTube, Gametrailers, Discovery Channel stuff, all those work pretty good now, but not Giant Bomb.

I tried putting the following in my WEB.conf, but it doesn't work:
videofeed.Web,Giantbomb,All videos=http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/high/
"There are no titles", the PS3 reports.

I could totally see someone using those clan-name-logo-pictures in their overly huge forum-signatures today. That stuff is still stuck in the 90's.

The 1.01 patch?
I swear that the framerate-issues got better after installing it, but people say it's some achievement/trophy stuff, so I don't know. I can't find any info about it either.

Leon (slicecycle-guy):
Go to the maintenance room to the left of Slot Ranch Casino on the Silver Strip. There's a lead pipe and some rocket fireworks in there, which you can combine for a rocket launcher. Now, go to the stairs right before you enter Fortune Park. It's the first set of stairs you see when walking towards the place he is driving around in when walking from the maintenance room. Between the two sets of stairs there's a small green area with some trees and a sign with lights on it. Just stand on top of the sign (second "step"), the zombies shouldn't be able to get you here, and fire off some rockets when he comes around. He stops between the rocks and the Royal Flush and between the rocks and Atlantica (both very close to you). When you're out of rockets you can fight mano-a-mano or go through a loading screen to make the items in the maintenance room respawn.

Slappy:
I didn't really have a "tactic" here. I just jump kicked him and whacked him while he was down. You can also get a couple of bags of marbles in the children's store right next to the escalator if you want, but I found it easier to just stay right in front of him all the time. He shoots flames to the sides, so they shouldn't hit you if you're right in front of him. When he's getting up, he'll do this spin maneuver, so don't get hit by that. Also, you're invincible when dodge-rolling, so use it if you have it.

I scored a 9. Guess I don't have autism then. I didn't really need an on line test to prove that, but it's nice to be sure, I guess.

Regular non-electron debit Visa, DNB Nor. Tried my Master Card as well.. no dice.

Guess we'll have to wait for Paypal.
