games i can go back to again and again and again and again, my favorite game series of all time
i will admit that everyone of these has made me ball up and cry my heart out :P

"THE" bethesda game, and the pinnacle of the modern RPG... bioware cannot even shake a stick at bethesda game studios
the elder scrolls series is a series that started me on "hardcore" gaming (daggerfall was my first very own pc game) and skyrim is by far my fav so far

i have always been a fan of westerns, this game was so inventive and original not only in setting but plot devices and how it delivered EVERYTHING to the player

this game never pulled you out of the game, there were no cutscenes making it the only shooter series i have ever felt like I was in the world
all of the half life series but my fav is HL2

i love zelda, i respect them, ill be honest i have never finished one (except Links Awakening), but that doesnt keep them and OOT from being some of my fav's of all time

this game has that "x" factor, the passion, the soul, and mostly the love that bungie has for halo, they sent their baby off with the best care they could ever give and it shows
all developers can learn from bungie, none other can put as much love and care in their games as bungie can

saving private ryan/vladimir/charles the game, consistent levels of bombast mixed with hard hitting emotional terror of war... i know kids think war is cool because of MW, but these games have terrified the shit out of me, in a good way... it really is "as close to war as you'd ever want to get"
cod 2 is close second, but i have to go back where it started for this one

ill be honest, ive never "played" this game, i never owned a ps2, but i have watched this game and even that is enough to make it one of my fav's of all time
