@thej6m: how about you compare the reaction by police in both situations. I don't know how many BLM supporters were taking selfies with police. Also, this was the seat of power to this country. All members of congress and the vice president were present to certify election results that were determined on numerous occasions by numerous different bodies of the judicial branch to be fair. Their staff members' lives were in danger. Just look at photos of the national guard standing in front of the Lincoln monument for a BLM protest and compare it with the utter disrespect that took place yesterday. I'm not sure how many casual screenshots you could capture of people looking at their phones at a BLM rally.
People were tear gassed and assaulted without warning so Trump could take a picture with a bible he's never read and hold it upside down.
This was ultimately about people who were gas lit by their president and his buddies who he used to bully lying to constituents.
