Thinking about games I missed in 2010/2009

Well I've been very busy this year finishing university, moving, and now I am settled into my new home. Going to work each day but have some time in the next couple of months to play/purchase old games.
Wondering what good games out there did I miss in 2010/2009? I have some games on hand but I would like to go back and play some of the games I missed but can't really remember what came out that I wanted to play.
For Xbox 360 I have Halo Reach, Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassing's creed II
For PS3 I have Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, and the God of War Collection.
I was thinking about making my christmas list and when I look at what games I want, I wanted to add some games I didn't play but had writers block hoping the GB community will help me out.
