I'm playing Mass Effect: Andromeda again. Do I need to see a doctor?

Ocarina of Time was my favorite game for a long time (having played it the year it came out as a child), but Egoraptor's video convinced me that...yeah it doesn't really hold up under scrutiny. It really broadened my horizons as a kid though and affected me emotionally.

I think a lot of games from the PS1/N64 era have a hard time impressing a modern audience, but they were still meaningful at the time.

I'm playing Mass Effect: Andromeda from the beginning again. I played it when it came out but...grew...fatigued by it. I've always felt obligated to go back and finish it though...

My solution to how frustrating the content is is to roleplay that Ryder has very little interest in conversations with people and helping people generally lol totally different from how I roleplayed Shepard.

I know a lot of folks here have contributed to the Giant ROM gamejams and stuff, but is there any cohesive list of the game developers we have in the community? Even if you just make tiny games or terrible games?

Hey, a friend of mine just launched the kickstarter for his new game which is similar, kinda, to Plague Inc :http://kck.st/2VD7GNb

I actually haven't seen any games like this for a long time so I was excited to see him working on it, but I also obviously want to support him. Please check it out if you have the time and inclination!

This is an excellent idea. I'll see what I can do.

It actually might be possible to do just a full hour in the studio, make a 30 minute version for tv, and then tease the "extended interview" as an online exclusive. I think I've seen the tonight show do that so it's not unprecedented.

Thanks for the suggestion!

This is great feedback, and you might actually enjoy my previous interview with Tyler that we did for the Darkest Dungeon kickstarter. It's much longer and has been received really well by the DD community. I meant to embed it underneath this paragraph but it looks like it's up there so...

I've found myself in a difficult position with this TV show, because it's like a basic cable channel. Virtually nobody watching has ever heard of any of the games or people we talk about, so I got a lot of feedback from the Nels Anderson interview that was like "dumb it down." Meanwhile my youtube interviews have become known (among the 4 people that watched them) for covering weirder more esoteric questions.

I really don't know how to balance the two :/

At the end of the day I trust Levine, and Irrational.
