As I play through Call of Duty MW 3 so that I can wrap up the story from the last 2 games, I noticed the insane amount of times that you manage to fall on your face and then kind of just... stare at your hands? The first time it happened in MW 1(I think?) It was pretty awesome, but it just seems so played out, I find myself rolling my eyes every time it happens!

They stare at their hands because they can't see their feet.

I've always wanted different death animations. I mean, you can stare at your hand all you want, but at least show the middle finger, or just fall and fade to black, and maybe sudden black would be cool for a few times, maybe whisper some last words... I dunno.

I agree, you're forced to fall down way too many times in MW3. At one point, you should fall and when you reach for your gun, your fucking hand should just be severed at the wrist, completely gone. That would have been hardcore.

It drives me crazy because it takes away precious seconds and those could be used to turn the tide of battle. It only takes the death of one or two good players to screw an entire team.

It's silly, but it doesn't really bother me.
