@lazyaza: Dan keeps misleading him into thinking the Riot SMG is the greatest thing in the game when it really isn't. The range is terrible and the suppressor burns out way too quickly. It's fine if you know shit's going to go sideways at some point, but if Drew's really trying for stealth, he should be using the tranq pistol.
-Pleaselisten to the mission briefings (Y button on the mission select menu) before starting a mission so you know what exactly you're doing going in, and check the mission objectives and VI stuff once you're deployed. It will save you A LOT of time in cases like this.
-Arm upgrades apply to the different arms, not just the vanilla bionic arm.
-Blueprints unlock LATER upgrades for guns you can already develop, e.g., if you find the Uragan blueprint, it unlocks a later version of the Uragan for development. If you want to be able to use any of the late-game weapons, you really need to be finding blueprints.
-The stealth suit is very visible, so it would behoove Drew to learn how to sneak (really just let up on the stick a little bit when you're 5 ft behind a guy) and just use normal camo. He also needs to crawl more, as someone else said. The cardboard box would help too.
-Doing missions at night is largely preferable to doing them in the day in most cases. There are usually fewer guards and their lines of sight are greatly diminished until they start using night-vision goggles, and even then, that causes their peripheral vision to get worse.
-You can sneak up on enemies with a gun drawn to hold them up and interrogate them. If you tell them to get down, they will stay down for the entire mission so long as you do not trigger an alert or let someone find them.
-The shotguns in this game are really good, so if you are determined to do a balls-out, kill everything playthrough, at least try using them once or twice. The final version of the long-barreled Rasp (the twin barrel shotgun) is devastating and has ridiculous range.
-Drew can get a suppressor for his tranq sniper rifle if he does the Legendary Gunsmith quests. If he wants a more durable suppressor, he can invest in developing one of the assault rifles with a suppressor with a 2/3 durability rating and it will be unlocked for the rest of the primary weapons.
I think that's all the thoughts I've had bottled up over the past 11 episodes.
