I think she acctually doesn't look so bad without make-up. But "after the change" she looks rather cheap. 
I'm a girl and even though I think I look kind of plain... maybe, I think that using tons of make-up is no good because... well, it's not me anymore, it's just a mask. 
However, I think the perception of beauty nowadays is really way too crooked by media and photoshopped models etc. showing us "how beautiful person should look like."
 
PS. I just have to imagine some guy waking up next to that girl in the morning: "Who the hell are you?!" :D
