So, if I'm understanding this correctly from the "legacy archive of content" bit, it's only new premium videos that are going to be available for free, not the older stuff as well?
Man, so Jeff's last appearance on Giant Bomb content is really going to be a routine podcast 2 weeks before his last day? And his departure announced the day he's done? Really? No farewell podcast, or tribute video, nothing but a "from the head of PR" style message on "transparency" and like a one minute segment at the beginning of this podcast?
So... unless I'm missing something, Jeff's last video will be the 5/24 Bombcast 2 weeks ago... either he put in his 2 weeks and just peace'd out on a 2 week "sick leave" or they really didn't want to give him a send-off. Feels like a bad split either way, particularly with this "from the head of HR" style "new era of transparency" letter.
Hearing that studio space won't be coming back isn't a surprise, but it certainly is a bummer. One of the things the pandemic years have taught me is that I'm significantly less interested in watching Giant Bomb content when no one is in the same room. It just doesn't feel the same.
Am I the only person bugged by the clock hand speeds shown at the credits for this? The minute hand is only moving about 4/5 of a minute for every full 60 seconds rotation of the seconds hand...
