I've been thinking about picking up a PSP lately, but it's like there is this voice in the back of my head telling me it won't be worth it or that it will just sit there gathering dust and I'll regret it a few days later. I'm especially torn because I really want to play some of the games I've missed primarily Peace Walker and Ghost of Sparta, but I just can't shake the feeling I won't be a good investment. 
 
So I did what I usually do and went to my local Best Buy with the fam and did some browsing and staring at the system in person; which for some reason is much more effective in helping me make my mind up than looking at stuff online. But honestly I came away just as undecided as I was before I got there. I've never been huge on handhelds but I already have all the home consoles and a gaming PC so sometimes I just have the tendency to just want more. It's kind of like someone that gets one tattoo and then another and then another and then before you know it they are a walking sketch book. You're the cool kid on the block for a while but there is always something that can make you just that one ounce cooler.
 
I'm thinking the PSPGo primarily because I'm not a fan of carrying around umds/games  with a portable system when they can easily get lost or damaged, plus I just like shiny stuff. Who doesn't? Either way I'll flip a coin here soon and see what comes out on top.
