A couple of weeks ago I had purchased both of the original Bioshock games for Steam. It looks like the only way to get Minerva's Den for the PC version is to purchase it from Games for Windows Live, which is coming to an end within a few days. Is this content just not available through legit means after this happens?
I should have said I suffer from Vinny 'finish everything' syndrome a bit :-P. I really focus of one or two games to completion then move on to something else. Or sometimes I look at my list of games, get lost on the internet for an hour, then shut down my PC having played nothing at all.
Why are you making that judgement that I am not having fun? I bought all 120 of these games over a few years time thinking 'Oh I can't wait to play ...!'. Time is short, things get pushed further back on the shelf but it doesn't change the fact that I bought these wanting to play them. I'm still enjoying the things I bought over summer sale, playing some Borderlands 2 with friends and FTL on my time. This is just my answer for 'I have no idea what I want to play right now'. It's nice to know I'm enjoying this library of games instead of letting the languish.
Another sale and a another opportunity for me to realize I have more games than would likely ever be played. Makes me feel guilty for buying anything else "Well I could get New Vegas for only $2.50, but that is maybe 60 hours I wouldn't put into something I already own. If I install it at all...".
So I've developed a system to make it through my entire library.
- Starting alphabetically I am playing every game through completion or until I am sick of it.
-Every game I will dedicate least one hours time to and at least two sittings. If it still doesn't grab me after that it gets uninstalled.
-If for some reason I don't want to play the game next in line I jump to the bottom of the list. To afraid to finish Amnesia? Let's finish Zenoclash....
Going well so far. AvP, And Yet it Moves, Bastion and the first Borderlands are no longer staring me in the face. Working on Amnesia (terrified of this game, keep skipping around it...) and polished off Zenoclash and Walking Dead on the other side of the spectrum. Exciting looking to what comes next on the list.
