Easy Achievements, decent rental 0

The problem with the game is not it trying to be something that it is not. The problem is what it is, and what it tries to be.From the get-go, you are starting off going up against black stereotype #2. Then you go against the nerd. Then the Arab prince. Then the valley girl.You drive around in a desolate wasteland, completely barred from anything fun happening as your surroundings can't be reached. You can have fun by running into speed signs and then drift to earn Kudos, err, Microsoft Points? ...

While I am still waiting for a racing game that adds to the flavor of Burnout Revenge, with Crash mode and all the hectic goodies, this is about as solid an arcade/fun experience with a racing game as I've had since 2005.The biggest jump in the game as a NFS game is the accessibility of it all. You have access to a fair number of cars off the bat. Any race you have tried you can jump to in the game menu. You can switch to cars in the menu. It is all very quick, and feels much better than Paradis...

Striving For Mediocrity 4

The game itself kind of suffers from one recurring problem, which is an extremely long and trivial experience that feels more like DLC and product than a gaming experience. The very long main story overstays its welcome by many hours, at times near the end I felt like I just wanted the thing to be done with. While the game has some good plot moments with vibarant characters, I tended to simply ignore most of them as the amazingly annoying sitcom-styled humor that is sometimes corny and sometimes...
