Nier was my favourite RPG of the last generation, and this remake just brings back those great memories. It does require you to commit to it and know you'll be finishing it multiple times, but I think the story is worthwhile. The music is absolutely fantastic too.

Weiss is endlessly amusing, great voice acting too.

I'm sure it said shipping from the 7th January, but still no shipping confirmation for me.

I managed to get one in the brief five minute window Amazon UK had the X, but it did involve a lot of refreshing an error screen.

Weirdly I'm seeing a lot of people suggesting the S still being available to find easily is some sort of failure, rather than the way it should be with a new release.

As a Heat fan, I'm just glad there's four more games.

@imhungry: It's not as good as 2 and has some annoyances - it's so needlessly crass sometimes that it does go a bit too far. Although I personally like Miu as a character. It's still a good Danganronpa and has some classic moments and a few of the best characters in the series. It's definitely worth a play if you're a fan. I'm a huge fan and I really enjoyed it. 2 was just so good that it sort of spoils 3.

Definitely Colonel Campbell in MGS2. It's stuck with me for years, there were a few lines I found absolutely chilling.

"Raiden something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was home. What do you think happened to me?"

That, and the fact Rose appears with blank eyes - pretty scary for a youngster.

Steins;Gate isn't just a game. It's an experience which teaches you the meaning of life! Everything to do with Steins Gate is fantastic, both games, the anime, the manga. The collectable upas.

I agree, RE7 was a pleasant surprise. The puzzles were odd though, although they felt like classic RE, they were all so basic that it felt slightly pointless. I did really enjoy the one memo which had the request for a contractor to 'install a shadow-controlled door' though.

@pompouspizza: @sasnake: Yeah I was mainly taking that from the credits. If they were trying to conceal his identity presumably the credits would just say 'Redfield' too? I like the idea it's not actually Chris though, that'd be way better than it just being an excuse to get a main character back in there.

@arbitrarywater: Oh, that makes sense - when I finished it and saw this bizarre Chris Redfield I felt like they'd just thrown it in to make it more Resident Evily. But if that unfolds in the free DLC that way it'd be pretty cool actually.

Far more egregious to me was the guy bursting out of the helicopter at the end like Kramer and going 'Whoaaaaa it's me Chris Redfield!!!'. It made it all kind of feel like a Resident Evil side story rather than a new game.
