Yo, by the way I'm about 85% sure it says #TOFU on the bottom of the car as a reference to the Initial D Manga and Anime franchise I guess you'd call it. It's also about drifting sick cars, but down fuckin' mountains.

There's also a sick arcade drifting game with some console titles as well. The main character of the show or whatever the hell you'd call it helps run a Tofu shop, and his sick mountain drifting car is a Toyota AE86 with tofu advertisements on it.

Random useless information of the day. You're welcome.

@xeirus: I'm not really sure what you're disagreeing with though. You're just saying you disagree and then talking about how destiny isn't 10 years old, but that doesn't make any difference. You even said yourself that the people playing might as well be the same amount as WoW.

@xeirus: @bradbrains: Sorry if I came across as stupid, but it's literally the same thing except WoW is even worse.

Every expansion makes the last one easier to level through and the one before that one even easier. At this point I am able to reach level 100 within a matter of 20 hours of "playtime", when before getting to 60 for example took about a week's worth of "playtime".

The issue has no bearing on "this game has been out x amount of time", it's to do with the fact that people now no longer get to experience the game, and can pay to skip 90% of it just because. Granted, these services aren't very much for newbies and it makes things very alt-friendly. But people who played WoW knew exactly what these tokens were for, what they meant for the game, and decided whether it was wise for them to buy them or not.

The Destiny "community" doesn't seem to be doing this, they are just calling Activision/Blizzard this and that without any real basis to back it up. It's pretty aggravating for me to see this being so blown out of proportion because Destiny has a bigger audience.

Also I'm not so sure what's wrong with this in the long run, really. No one's ever said what's wrong with it. Both Destiny and WoW have such a big learning curve that if you're new and you pay this money and expect to be automatically good at end-game you are either in for such a sore wallet that you'll never do this again or the end-game will be too hard for you to even fathom what's happening. Especially with Destiny.

And if you're an old player, this is an excuse to give them money for a service you've already played through 10,000 times, and if you don't want to, you don't have to. I see no issue here.
