Wow, the difference is huge on the fullscreen pics. Might have to finally play the PC version I got with DAII.

DAII was made in 8 months, KOTOR 2 in 12. DAII features a new art style(and no reused assets from Origins) and a new combat system. KOTOR 2 features an improved combat system, a more in depth morality system and a wide variety of new animations.

KOTOR 2 has a dozen or so detailed, multi-level planets to explore, DAII has about four basic levels constantly reused throughout the game. KOTOR 2 generally improves upon it's sequel in terms of writing, with more realized characters and events. DAII...betrayal, sex, whatever.

Both games have awful, shitty as fuck abrupt endings leaving the story with a million loose ends. KOTOR 2 suddenly ends on the image of some stars and shit for no real reason, while DAII ends on a 'shocking' cliffhanger. DAII's at least provides a slightly better sense of 'completion'.

BioWare is a bigass studio, Obsidian is small time.

To be played with, or just to have in a video. Because this game is all about Rollin', Geralt always be Rollin' to break stuff or to get some nookie. Every time you go to murk a dude, you'll be rollin' 90% of the fight. This game is based around Rollin'. Geralt thrives on that way of life. Just like any crazy muthafucka should.

Watching those movies back-to-back and then catching the U3 teaser made me realize that those games follow the same basic plot structure as those movies, it's not just paying homage.

Raiders of the Lost Ark: Heroic archaeologist is pitted against his rival with a strong female love interest along for the ride, crazy mystical shit happens at the end.

Drake's Fortune: Heroic treasure hunter is pitted against his rival with a strong female love interest along for the ride, crazy mystical shit happens at the end.

Temple of Doom: Unusual opening action sequence, grittier plot elements, much heavier focus on heart pounding action, crazy mystical shit happens at the end.

Among Thieves:  Unusual opening action sequence, grittier plot elements, much heavier focus on heart pounding action, crazy mystical shit happens at the end.

Last Crusade: Return of more familiar elements of the original movie, focus is put on the father/son dynamic, climatic action scene is set in a desert, crazy mystical shit happen at the end.

Drake's Deception: Storyline will be about Drake and Sully's close relationship, a portion of the game will take place in a desert, crazy mystical shit will happen at the end.

70 year old Drake confirmed for U4.
