Seems we live in a culture where self-interest is so ingrained that we're mystified by the fact that generosity can be enjoyable in and of itself. Anything can become toxic when taken to an extreme, but in general I like this model--you give voluntarily to things that you like, rather than everything being such a raw, brutal exchange. Sidesteps this endless anger about "I wasn't given what I expected / deserved for my money" that often seems to infect gamers.

Ah yeah, I mean that some do it even more automatically, e.g. YouTube (w/ Red) and the WWDC app, where you don't even have to press play from the lock screen. But I'm sure it's a matter of what the libraries and APIs provide etc.

Can you make it so when you switch away from the app, the audio continues playing in the background? Seems some iOS apps do this and some don't.

Seems like they should almost always disallow these region transfers, unless they have something signed in triplicate in blood or something. How many US Xbox users legitimately move to Russia?

The Plex app is working fine for me. I do wish it would save my place in videos (across sessions), and even create its own On Deck section, but I notice that none of the other video channels do this either, so I guess it's more of a general limitation in Plex.
