@gyratyne: It is my hope that they do a playthrough of the story mode after they complete Part 3. The game is the Dragon Ball Fighterz of its era. Capcom was able to capture the essence of the Stardust Crusaders cast in their animations and moves. The game also has a ton of references that are the crew would really appreciate.
Immensely grateful for this fun trip down memory lane. It was a ton of fun to listen to Jeff and Dan experience DBZ for the first time. Even if this series never picks back up, it was heartening to hear them discuss which anime they may watch next. This series opened up a whole new world of stuff that they might have glossed over if not for a really good DBZ game. That's really all I could ask for from this whole thing. Thanks for the great series, guys!
I really like the new formula for these deliberations. It is great to hear every game get its own little point of discussion. The chronological order of the discussion is also really helpful and contextualized the year in a neat way.
With this episode being the last one for 2018, I just wanted to reiterate that this podcast has been my absolute favorite of 2018. It has been a fun way to revisit the first anime that I watched regularly. Being a wrestling fan, I feel like I got a lot of extra mileage out of those references. I don't know if they will pick up another anime series after Kai, but I will be stick around if they decide to continue. Thanks for this fantastic podcast and I look forward to more next year!
A nice little send-off episode for the Prince of All Saiyans. Vegeta is going to be spending some time in the Home for Infinite Losers, but he may yet get his win back...

Hearing Jeff use his Persona 4 Ghoul voice for Majin Buu made me smile from ear to ear. I like the Japanese voice better than the English one, but I look to more Jeff impressions on this front. I am impressed by how well they seem to be able to predict how this arc will play out thus far. I read up on a lot of this stuff on the Ultimate DBZ Information Site back in the day, so I didn't take a ton of time to try and predict the storyline.
I think Jeff and Dan will get their wishes granted regarding some of the character developments in the next few batches. I am eagerly looking forward to the next few podcasts to see if their opinions of this arc change at all.
Also, if Kwee Wei is Goku, I nominate Billy Kidman as Yamcha.
I am so happy that you took the time and effort to make this compilation! It put a huge smile on my face listening to the crew talk about their experiences. I remember coming to the Bombcast after a 1UP Yours podcast and slowly transitioned to this site as 1up.com was on the wane. The site, the people on it, and the content will change and grow with time, but the heart is always there and I love y'all for it.
@undeadpool: So excited for this! They can kind of see it coming from the sound of things, but they are going to flip out either way.
Regarding Piccolo's name, the evil Piccolo from Dragonball had a gang that included characters named Piano and Tamborine. Toriyama loves to find a naming convention and stick with it.
