This Def fizzled out for a final episode given not everyone joined.
I think what made xcom a success was the players leaving notes to each other explaining decisions and story impacts in their own words.
Xcom also wasnt super story heavy, each player putting their own snippets into the story made it great. The reincarnation of dan, the luckiest kill shot finale, the rotating losses of abbys characters.
Really happy to see everyone on the podcast this week. I hope it continues, the combo of people is what I like about Giantbomb more than any specific coverage
@johndubp: to further clarify. It is better to say "you can draw metaphors of X, Y, and Z from..." rather than "X movie/game was created as a metaphor for...". You can do this from any story whether on purpose or through coincidence of experience.
