I don't currently have a PS3 but do have a Vita and want to play this game. Is the Vita version good enough on its own?

So the game keeps freezing after about 10-15 minuets of playing. At random points in the game it just freezes and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del out. When I exit the game a dialogue box pops up and says "Hitman5 has stopped working". Already tried rebooting my system, verifying steam cache files, and made sure my drivers are up to date. Thankfully it hasn't crashed while it was saving yet, so I just started the hotel level. If you guys have any ideas on how to resolve my issue it would be awesome, thanks.

Specs:

AMD Raedon HD 7970M

Intel i7-3610QM 2.30GHz

8GB of ram

I don't think an iPad would be as memorable of a moment has a new console.

My theory:

Some people, including myself, think they initially removed Nuketown 24/7 because a large number of players were playing that, which was fragmenting the player base of the normal maps and causing connectivity problems with nuketown 24/7. What if they planned to bring it to chaos moshpit all along? If they removed the 24/7 playlist and added chaos moshpit at the same time people would have reacted the same way they did when they first removed it. By waiting some time between removing 24/7 and adding chaos they look like they are listening to the community and giving us back what we wanted.
