Lego Marvel by faaaaar. LB2 felt like a demo in comparison, refused to give up any characters until the end, and didn't have an interesting enough post-game to make you care.
Right now I have Ni No Kuni on the backburner, I have played so much of that game that I WILL complete it. It's deserving of that cause it's one cracking JRPG but there's a lot of games I never get around to completing.
Love that game, but I keep looking at it and deciding to put it off.
It's worth it. I haven't touched the post-game content since the game came out though. I do understand there's a lot of it though. I love that game so much.
I recently watched a guy try DS2 for the first time then try DS for the first time. He made a pretty good point. In DS2, you have to go off the beaten path to find the tutorial messages, which you can accidentally destroy. In DS they are permanent and right in front of you.
I think Dark Souls is great start if you're trying to get into the series, but I don't see anything wrong with starting from the beginning. In fact, I encourage it!
Well alright then, thanks. Is Dark Souls the hardest out of the three?
They aren't sequels per se no. You could jump in at any of them and it work.... But Dark Souls 2 will make a little more sense and be more interesting if you have played Dark Souls 1 first. Demon's Souls is sort of separate but it was the first of the Souls games and plays somewhat different and has a more unique feel. I think they are best experienced in order so you can see what changed and maybe appreciate why.
As for which is hardest? Tough question.
Demon's Souls has the hardest start I guess, followed by Dark 2 in my opinion.
The bosses overall are probably hardest in Dark 1, but I would say Dark 2 and Demon's have "individual" bosses harder than anything in Dark 1.
The mechanics are probably hardest to pick up in Demon's but they are also less complex than in Dark 1 and 2.
So I would say they are all three hard games in their own way. None of the three is particularly harder than the other two, they all have their really nasty and not so bad moments.
Thanks man! This has been extremely helpful. You've officially convinced me. I'll start with Demon's, but if I can't get my hand on that, I'll start with Dark.
