Yo it's wild to see trails content on this site ,currently "reading" 3rd before i move on to ao and zero
to anyone that might be interested in playing these i see so many fans recommend playing all in the right order if you actually plan on catching up which i agree but only on the right order part because unless you realllly like old ass JRPGs, sitting through 7 40-80 hour games to get caught up on the most current gen sequel is a insane suggestion even in our lockdown times mainly in the old trails in the sky trilogy they are beyond slow with good pay offs but you can cut so much time just finding a good read along ,after suffering through 1 i couldn't handle playing 2 anymore and just found a good read along and not only did it cut the time it took to get through it nothing was lost due to there being no voice acting in the old games
i'd like anyone to suggest why anyone should have to go through all the stuff the game makes you do in 3rd now a days was so glad seeing all the stuff i didn't have to do.
after all that said i've had a lot of highs when this game gets good and there's still so much more for me to learn and i'm excited to find out the lore and worldbuilding in trails is crazy but there's honestly way too much but that's why fans love it i guess
i don't think i'll ever understand the logic of people that own a decent PC but say this still want to couch game on a TV,you can do that since the mid 2000s with one simple plug the only difference is do you want to use a controller or keyboard
can only see it as a issue for newer people to gaming that don't like to fuss around with the world of building pcs and the amount of money it cost to get into it but if you already got all of that then why you slacking?? .
funny with thing with those sale numbers are those rewards you get for the mobile game are insanely important and hard to get so not just whales of the mobile game will be picking it up just for that,hell i hardly ever play fighters but just because i'm a fan of GBF and want those items will be picking this up at some point
@katsu044: besides the characters this doesnt have anything to with what granblue fantasy is though right? Im very interested in versus but have 0 interest in a phone app with gatcha mechanics. Versus wont change that. Especially after hearing it called a "grindhell" hahaha thats seems like the worst :)
The story/single-player mode has a bunch of mechanics lifted from the mobile game, like building weapon 'grids' to maximize your power, etc.
There's apparently also a gacha (for weapon skins?) but I don't know how it works exactly.
that's as much to my understanding regarding story mode (which seems to be mainly targeted towards fans of the mobile game) unsure how crazy they will go because weapon grids can take months to build depending on how hardcore you wanna get lol , i still think you can mostly play this just as a fighter and if you're ever curious about the characters you can look up their stories or else you'd never guess vaseraga and zeta are a special agent duo wielding powerful weapons meant to fight Primal's ,or the lowian bros are always hanging out just fantasizing about all these random events

lots of great characters in the game Season one has some decent picks so this game seems like a great way to get new people in to the grind hell that is gbf lol
@bathala: there still there just late game like most racing games , Map is pretty big so maybe there is some exotic places.
still on the wait for it to go cheaper side but after watching a video of someone using Endgame car parts the sense of speed is night N Day compared to the early hours of the game it goes full on arcadey
