Inverted camera totally makes sense if you played too much flight sim
I actually don't think it does. My dad is a Cessna private pilot in real life, I've been messing around with flight sims since I was old enough to use a computer, I remember screwing around with Flight Sim 3.0 or 4.0 on our old Acer 286 when I was five years old. I have NEVER used inverted camera and actively hate it. In flight sims, you aren't controlling the camera, you're controlling the plane. I just don't buy "flight sims" as an explanation for preferring inverted controls since I've played them as much as anybody and they were probably my first gaming (if you consider flight sims games, which some hardcore flight simmers don't) experience.
Maybe if you were into console flight sims back in the day it makes more since, I've been a PC gaming guy pretty much my whole life, I don't know if Star Fox on SNES or whatever had inverted controls maybe it makes more since if you're considering that a "flight sim" or if you played Microsoft Flight Sim with a Gravis GamePad or something like a crazy person (and yes I see the irony in that last statement since FS2020 has pretty decent Xbox controller support).
Watching this is such a bummer. The absolute bare minimum of surface changes while adjusting some sliders and keeping everything else the exact same. I bet some of the canned animations date back to NHL 2004. They couldn't even be bothered to put in a playoff bubble mode.
The fucking gall of charging full price for this thing.
Not sure if this is true but somebody said the major sports leagues are barring EA/2K from putting empty stadium/bubble games in this year's games because they don't want to remind people of COVID.
I will say I booted up the new Madden on my PC to check it out with my new graphics card and playing a game at the Vikings stadium (I'm a Packers fan so the Week 1 game was at Minnesota), simulating a pumped full domed stadium (and playing with headphones on) was sort of awesome. Like DAMN haven't seen this lately.
If GOG gets the NOLF games and the 2001 FPS Alien vs Predator 2, I'll die a happy man. My biggies were System Shock 2 and Blade Runner, which are now a thing!
Man, Ground Zeroes is so so good. If only the outposts in Phantom Pain were this well thought out. Hopefully that was the fault of Konami pushing that game out the door and Death Stranding's open world will be far more interesting.
Exactly! Ground Zeroes has always been my favorite part of MGSV.
