I find myself enjoying watching other people play games or talk about games rather than actually playing games over the last few years (I'm 41 btw). This is probably a symptom of getting older but I long for simple, addictive, inventive, playable games that I grew up with. I recently bought a consolised Neo Geo MVS (couldn't afford a Neo Geo when it first game out) and love it. Is this just nostalgia or are modern games (even retro ones) missing the mark?
