I think the real moral of the story here is to just not talk about video games with other people period. Just pick the online commentators you prefer and use them as the outlet for your video game interest. There isn't a gaming community out there that won't make you feel like shit for the games you like or dislike, and I have never met an individual gamer who didn't give me shit for any number of my game playing habits.
I've been able to use both my 360 gamepad and steam controller to move the mouse cursor in menus outside of games. Drew doesn't have to get the lLogitech K400 even though it's a pretty good keyboard. I think he just needs to fiddle around with some of the controller settings.
I think Jeff is way off about Siege. I don't know where he's playing it but on PC it feels and looks good, and it is intense as hell. The microtransaction stuff sucks, it's not really defensible in a 60 dollar game like this so that is definitely a bummer.
Super interesting the devs had never really looked at the Strike games or Future Cop LAPD since they bear quite a few similarities. What this game REALLY reminds me of is Mechwarrior 3050 for the Genesis/SNES with some familiar but new flavors. I can't wait till this comes out of EA I'm totally gonna play the shit out of it.
Guess I should have voted cause I despise this game. Rarely have I holistically hated a game's characters and setting more than this game, and I even liked Remember Me (the studio's last game) quite a bit.
