The idea that BL3 needs to be a Destiny is exhausting. One of the most appealing things to me is that its more of a single-player experience than something like a Destiny, which expects you to play with a group of people. I never got into Destiny or The Division 2 because that multiplayer focused experience is not something I'm looking for.
Something that has confused me is why Ben called it "Auto Chess: Origin". Probably because on iOS its called "Auto Chess: Origin" but on PC and Android, its called just "Auto Chess".
Been having some decent fun with this game. Its unfortunate that the flatly textured style has become "the Fortnite style". From what I've heard, the style is this way in Dauntless to help differentiate itself from MH:W, rather than be similar to Fortnite.
I hope this is the start of a wave of fully cross-play, cross-progression games. The barriers between game matchmaking are purely artificial at this point.
