Dark souls is better (one of my favourite games of all time), yet I played through Dark Souls 2 many more times (3!) than the original. What it lacks in Dark Souls dread and *feel* it makes up for in ease-of-play. More builds work well, multiplayer seems to be better integrated (maybe?) and the combat has more potential for fluidity.
That sentence is probably controversial but whoooo cares about that sort of controversy.

Another sequel to an all-time-favourite (GUESS WHICH ONE? No points for correct).
I haven't beaten it yet, having only purchased it 7 days ago, but I have loved every moment of the 40 hours I have dropped already.

I never played mega-man but this made me want to. Such solid platforming and bloody fantastic boss battles. Also does anyone else think it's a metaphor for depression?

Probably a vote for the features added, not the content it was added to.
Honestly I think Ruby/Sapphire are the worst pokemon games that I've played (i've played many of them). That being said, they really pumped this product up enough that, whenever I was allowed to stop "surf"ing, I really enjoyed it.

This is a hard one. I loved it, it's fantastic. But it also made me say to myself "I will never play an FPS ever again". I think I hate FPS games. This is an FPS game. But a fantastic one.

Combat? Awesome. Two-sided conversations with yourself? Yeah okay!? Story? Baaaaah.
Call me shitty, but the text-based infodumps made me tired and disinterested in the story.
