Promo is too close to the word por.. in that sentence...... :)
I think the 20% of me that's not dyslexic just woke up and said "oh no, not this again". Not a measurable thing AFAIK, but I have to re-read things often, it makes for an interesting life :D
It's a big coincidence that Lux Auterna is the single thing going through my head right now (the theme song from Requiem for a Dream). I will miss Matt, try to keep up with his future work, He has a dry sense of humour that I share. I'm allergic to animals, but I can appreciate them from a distance, so doggoes (and the cats) have been fun. Being close to animals is something I can't do, but I appreciate his love of them and sharing the pictures :) Good luck Rorie, you deserve a change for the better.
Hmm. Not sure why this is a question really. I would love to know a game inside out and tutor someone through it in a way that lets the person make decisions, but help to shortcut things for us (the viewers) if they're facing a moment where they have no clue. That takes time and I faced it with OG Tomb Raider on PS1. I fell into a corridor full of knee depth water, and it took me the best part of an hour to figure out that there was one place along the wall where I could climb up. That was interesting for me, but wouldn't be useful for anyone else. It was a good game overall, I finished it. So shortcutting those intermediate moments makes for a better video. Plus people can bounce ideas around while they're playing, about the game or life in general. These are the soft people skills that GB can present.
Jesse was a really good guest IMO, I'll have to look at XBoxEra and see what they get up to. He did say that they try not to be platform specific as hosts, so it could be fun
Really enjoyed this, but that's a lot of money to spend for someone who doesn't even have a PS5 yet. IRL I'm a little bit worried by heights, but only if I was stood on top of a building or mountain in a strong wind (scared of it casting me into the unknown I guess). I could lie down on top of a building and look down I think, or be in a hot air balloon with sides to hang on to and feel fairly okay. Some of those mountain scenes in Horizon I might be able to adjust to, knowing that there was no risk.
Looking forward to this :) I hadn't heard about the Apex Legends mobile thing, thanks Jeff/Lucy!
Edit: I did a sleep study. The NHS gave me a box and something to put on my body, my arm I think, it's been about 4 years. So no clinic hassle or costs thank goodness since I was between jobs. It was a resounding success, I slept like a log that night. (I got to see the results too -"you're normal")
