@heyitsdale: I had these issues on release. I waited a few hours for a patch and when I booted it up several hours later the menu and UI issues were gone. I'm not sure if a patch was applied on day one or not but the menu problems cleared up when I restarted.
If you look at all the clues and read the Mario Historia it's pretty clear the movie takes place between Mario is Missing and Legend of the Seven Stars.
@onemanarmyy: sure the communication are very simple and limited to canned responses but honestly I don't mind it that much. Once I get an idea on what a pokemons abilities are I'll try to support the rest of the team in a way that makes sense. The communications don't feel great so my coms will be limited to when I'm away from the fighting until I get used to the controls and I've always been one to monitor the minimap so i can tell if my team is pulling back, making a push or engaging with opponents.
Currently im just trying to find which digital monster I want to start out as then go from there.
@onemanarmyy: For me personally, I'm playing this because I genuinely like MOBA game mechanics and team synergies but I want to avoid all the toxic ultra competitive baggage that other MOBAs have.
This is pretty new so it has a chance to get real bad later on if angry tryhards start to become the norm but there's no way it can devolve to sewage level chat logs of a established MOBAs.
@mupod: I believe I spent most of Saturday playing this and yeah its nice being ultra mobile. Big fan of wall running and how vines are now just sideways ground surface for you and the dog. I'm not sure how many areas are in this game. They are super compact and with the dog it takes no time getting from one end of the map to the other. Before a monster running away used to be a good time to heal, get your gear ready and stamina up before running after the fleeing monster. Now I find myself getting to a monster retreat point before a flying monsters gets a chance to land and rest. Hopefully there's a good mix of maps in this one.
I greatly enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter World but I always needed at least forty minutes of uninterrupted time and that made me less likely to boot the game up these days but it looks like you can "pause" solo hunts mid fight on Rise which is a godsend.
Been waiting for this game for a while but I'll hold off till its fully complete. Still looks incredible and mixing crisp(or dirty depending on the object) 2d elements, partical effects and lighting give everything the kind of detail that gets lost when turned into a 3d model.
@scottiedo22: Haven't played it but I watched Shroud play it and it seems like he was getting head shots with ease. Vinny was also playing with gamepad that was losing power.
