" hell I personally think they should have stuck with the old blade system it worked and works well they should have built upon that made it faster, more featured filled, I hated it when they completely changed it, and while its grown on it, I still loved the original blades. "
A completely redesigned and reoriented blade system would've been nice to a point, but the biggest thing with those was just how cluttered it'd have to be if they insisted on keeping the blades on the sides.  There's only so much they would've been able to streamline it.

In before a massive amount of people bitch about music in multiplayer being distracting.

I'm indifferent, but it feels like half my friends turn that stuff OFF the second they get a chance to.

Would I be a horrible person if I wanted Sonic Racing, just so I had another excuse to listen to the music?

" @The_Laughing_Man: Seriously, they aren't journalist.  The difference between Engadget and Gizmodo is that Engadget knows they aren't journalist and are bloggers (but they put out stuff that real journalists do), Gizmodo thinks they're journalists but act like fucking kids.  It's the same deal with Joystiq/Destructoid and Kotaku (at least Destructoid knows full well who and what they are and do it with amazingly comedy).    You buy stolen shit, you go to jail.  God damn idiots, they're bloggers and nothing more.  I can't wait to see the way they spin this and the way Gizmodo readers will go like "APPLE IS AN EVIL CORPORATION" when it's the federal system taking care of it and not Apple.  Crime is a crime, and when you do stupid shit like this expect the full force of the federal task force. "

They are trying to protect him under the " he is a journalist" thing. Im sure apple will crush him.   I still think they went way to far by taking the phone apart.  "
Last I checked, doesn't "he's a journalist" only apply when he refuses to reveal his source anyway?  I don't think anyone's allowed to buy stolen goods, whether it's for a story or not, and under California law when he bought it knowing that there was a name attached to it, it was stolen propety.

You got it in your first playthrough? Damn.  That end form isn't nearly as much of a pain in the ass as the first and second ones, and I think by the time I started the third I was so intent on staying alive that I turtled more than I need to.

It's kind of funny how incredibly easy it is to do it when you get near max levels on main jobs after beating the game, though.  It's just like every FF since, like, 7, the final boss is nothing compared to the annoying optional bosses that you have to kill for 100% completion!

Seeing the quest system is making me revive a 2 year old Giant Bomb account that I hadn't used because "Pfft, I don't need to log in to see the news!"

Clever.  Very clever.

(Now the trick is pretending I've been here the whole time to get into the mod's good graces.  Yeah, I was totally here at GB when you were!  Totally!)

The problem isn't so much with the mechanics getting introduced, it gets that out of the way within the first 5 or 6 hours.  The issue is that after that you spend FOREVER with non-complicated battle after non-complicated battle.  The changing of which characters you have seems to be an attempt at making you switch up your strategies, but the fights themselves never feel like they're getting difficult during that part.  It basically turns into COM/RAV/RAV or COM/RAV and then switch to a medic for waaaaay too long.

The battle system is dealt out fine, but it takes too long for the game to make you feel like you're not having your hand held.

I hope that makes sense! :(

No, nowhere near full.  I didn't even have full mains until after I beat the game.

What characters/jobs are you using?

" Just wish Beat Hazard would tone down the epilepsy lights a tad. "
If they did that, I would NEVER buy it.  I seriously paid the full (discounted at the time) price for that because of that sole reason.  Fucking ace man, those lights after a crazy day and being tired is the most epic trip out you can ever get, your mind just goes blank and it foucses on winning.  Shit dude, I put on hardcore gabber that was 200 BPM and my headache was gone, and I was in heaven.    I think they need to add a mode that adds more visuals in an extreme mode.  "
I guess that makes sense if you're playing it for an experience.  I always feel like I can't keep track of where anything frickin' is when the flashing gets too drastic.
