This poll is hilarious. The implication is that you know them "as a person" and I'd guarantee that most of you haven't even met any of the GB folks. That said, I've only ever talked to Jeff in person, and he's a very friendly, personable dude. I'd bet the same would go for Ryan as well as Brad and Vinny.

I still prefer Grooveshark. No account needed, no software to install. Plenty of music.

Played around fifteen hours of FFXIII and liked it up until around hour ten or eleven. Then it just got dumb. Maybe someday I'll pick it up and power through the rest of the tutorial, but when your summons do less damage than some of your normal attacks, there's something wrong with that game. Being linear didn't throw me off too much, and the Paradigm system was decent, but in general, it wasn't more than Square trying to be a CGI movie company again.

Hey, Mega Man Universe was cancelled because it was bad. We played it at NYCC 10. Real bad.

It isn't surprising at all, but interesting to hear the confirmation anyway. Basically, this shows that just about everything Nintendo showed at E3 was just for inspiration. The video was taken from existing games running on existing hardware, and even the developers they highlighted may not even have completely bought in.

I got this game 2 or 3 days ago after a friend of mine grabbed the trial. We're both long time WoW players (5 years for me, 2ish for him) and we got really burnt out. I absolutely love MMOs though, having tried almost all of the "best" ones on the market and I can safely say Rift is probably the best MMO I've played since WoW. It feels like a very polished, better looking, warhammer online with a ton of content thrown in and an improved combat system. We've been leveling together and playing at least 4 or 5 hours a day and we're only level 25/50. I can't stress enough how much I love this game. It's just fun.

I think everyones waiting for it to go f2p.

Rift is fantastic. Tons of fun, and is basically a better World of Warcraft. It seems that the GB folks have written it off due to the tongue-in-cheek marketing, but it's the only MMO that I've reached max level in. Still playing, still fun.  There's a 7 day trial now too.
