Yeah, I don't feel entitled to an answer. Just thought I'd give it a try, I've seen him respond to outright angry critique directly about him. I figured if he's got time to respond to that, my thing should be easy enough to squash.
On the other hand, they do discuss Bayonetta's portrayal in the comments section. Does Dan not wanna take questions about that? I'm not asking to discuss what sexism is or sex-positive feminism or any of those nebulous concepts, I'm not asking "How is Bayonetta not sexist?" This isn't even about my opinion vs. his opinion, it's about his opinion vs. his opinion. This is a thing he's discussed in reviews before.
But from the comments, it seems like discussing that with regards to Bayonetta is "not talking about the games" and I should "go back to the containment article." My question might just be too close to "How is Bayonetta not sexist?" for Dan's tastes.
What's further, what legs do I have to stand on? Bayonetta 2 is getting widespread praise across the board. For every four people with issue regarding Bayonetta's design, there are 40 others who see absolutely nothing to say anything about. This is about me trying to understand why I'm so wrong.
