I've spent a good amount of time with Pokemon X, and the one new pocket monster that has really stood out to me thus far is Talonflame. I really love thebirds of prey-inspired designs, but this is hands down my favorite. So I decided to try my hand at recreating it, albeit a tad less cartoony. I'm really excited because this is my first attempt at drawing a pokemon, believe it or not. It's been a blast so far, and I'll definitely take a crack at more pokemon in the future.

Anyway, here's a step-by-step process of the line art and coloring process. I'll continue to update it until it's done, and hopefully any aspiring artists out there can find some inspiration to create their own versions of their favorite pokemon.
