On one hand, I do truly feel bad for the folks who expected this to be a REMAKE, since this game has been pushed as a REMAKE in the traditional videogame sense only to have the revelations of the ending hit those players. as for a lot of folks, this story was their introduction to layered stories in videogames, and this game does such a damn fantastic job with the story and characters.

On the other hand, as someone who didn't have high nostalgia for this game, and the idea that this is not really a remake in the traditional sense anymore, and it's more of a "Reimagining" or "Remix" or like a sort of sequel with this cast and world, I think that's fucking awesome and exciting.

So I guess I'm of the camp of being cautiously optimistic, now It's just up to Nomura and that team to really deliver on this "Saga" now however long they want to stretch this out.

If nothing else, we truly have our first "big tentpole event series" of next gen now,

It’s such a different vibe without Dan there as the 3rd wheel talking all the time, NOT complaining, just interesting to see how the dynamics changed and goes to show how unstoppable the chemistry was with these 3, as watching this it’s engrained at this point that I was expecting Dan to chime in with endless topics or questions and for the whole gang to be lost in conversation (Not in a bad way)

@mrfluke: I was just as bummed when Austin and Drew left. I literally have these people in my ear every week so the void left is felt.

I also got Anxiety as an Ally and meditation definitely helped me.

Meditation has dramatically changed my whole being, cause of him Ive done it for over 700+ days, I guess it just hits for me a bit more knowing he's completely out of games, like Austin we still have on waypoint and he comes on Gb East on a frequent enough basis, and Drew is on cloth map and always helps with extra life. but unless WWE lets him be a part of up up down down as a public face, he'ill be the alumni from GB we'ill hear from the least.

I guess we'ill wait and see as he said he has no idea what his job will be like, Happy for him, as it really is the perfect next thing for him, but as fan, I definitely don't envy the person to take his place.
