Fun Fact... Snoopy was basically the mascot for the Apollo program and was the name of the LEM for Apollo 10, 50 years ago last May and is still somewhere out in space. Unlike all the other LEMs that launched.
This is real old now and very esoteric and forgettable but...
There was snow visible in the hills near San Jose when I was driving into the bay area sometime in about Spring 2006. I'm sure there were other times but this is notable to me since I came in straight from visiting Seattle which also had a touch of snow the night I arrived intown after going through a near blizzard in Snoqualmie (WA) and LookOut Pass (MT/ID).
