I didn't like being a Mary Sue OC in Disney movies, which is what I felt was happening in KH3. They redid 'Let it Go' in engine. Impressive, but not what I was looking for. I had some similar issues in KH and KH2, but felt they diverged often enough that it wasn't in my face constantly. Probably because they also had FF and original characters interacting with Sora and crew.
That's my huge concern with adding MCU or Star Wars in the mix. Me rehashing everything again.
Municipal water usually has enough fluoride added to it to protect teeth, but adding fluoride to municipal water happened during my Dad's lifetime. He was doing studies on the long-term effects of fluoride in college, and testing fluoride toothpastes on rats.
Municipalities can't always provide enough do to how their water system is built, and dosing the kids at school was a way to make up the lack.
I'm currently going through and downloading everything I have on the PS3 PSN store. Everything. Not Fun. It's going on my NAS, 225 GB at a time.
I'm probably overreacting, but I'm also having a similar bad experience where I'm dealing with other people trying to claim ebooks from a publisher that just up and shut everything off. With 5 days notice.
So, I grinded up the starting job to max on all characters the second I got the first boss asterisks while filling out the bestiary for the dungeon (rare item drops are rare). I then proceeded to use just the starting job to wipe out, what I am guessing, the non-AOE super mobs for a beastmaster/blue mage kind of class to get abilities from. Since they respawn, and drop great gear the first time, I did that a couple more times. That added a couple hours to my playtime, but really teaches you the mechanics of the battle system pretty well. It also makes the next several bosses super laughable in that you just throw your weight around, quite literally, and they go down in a like 2-3 cycles when you were just doing 20 cycle bosses.
The first class is super-broken, and its probably going to Onion Knight/Mime later into the game if its anything like the first 2 games. If nothing else, you can find a super basic fight, leave one mob alive, and just use the starting class to forage for items to carry you through whatever hurdle you are having problems with.
So, blockchain only needs a ton of energy if you do like the cryptocurrencies. There are tons of blockchain systems that don't need ever-increasing amounts of power. I've worked on a couple applications that focus on the decentralized ledger aspect for non-cryptocurrency use.
Oof. Most of my list are edge cases. Things like Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on PC, Hades, Factorio, Among Us, etc.
Almost want to say that I sought comfort this year in things that were known to be good and that have continued to be good rather than risk on new unknowns.
Probably why I sank so much time into Warframe, and why I didn't even bother to try to get one of the new consoles.
Disassembled my launch PS3 3-4 years into having it as the GPU was dying from overheating and the rumored fix was to replace 'cracking' thermal paste. The interior was just fascinating. A giant fan pushing air in every direction, because it was basically surrounded by a heatsink.
Got a few extra months out of it, so I counted that as a win while I got my PS2 out of storage.
