Through playing dozens upon dozens of hours of Borderlands I've come to the conclusion that random loot generation is one of the most fun aspects of gaming. I can't wait to experience Diablo III's take on it.

Looks to be a nice evolution of the original Guild Wars. From the little we've seen thus far it's shaping up very nicely graphically/artistically. ArenaNet is trying hard to differentiate GW2 from existing MMOs with its game-play. "If you like MMOs, check out GW2. If you hate MMO's, definitely check out GW2," they say. I fell for the hype for the first GW and it paid off. I will do the same with the second.

Good ol' grand strategy produced by one of my favorite devs (an indie!). Check out the fantastic Galactic Civilization series to see their work.

I'm very curious to see the finished product, not exactly pumped. The videos and trailers up until now have left a lot to be desired and the focus on a single player narrative experience does not sound like a direction that the MMO genre should be heading in. We'll see.
