I'll have to check it out, the only board game podcast I listen to right now is Shut Up and Sit Down (which is great, but I've been a fan of theirs for years anyway). Always looking for something new and have a trip coming up so will download it!

Anyone listen to The Secret Cabal?

It's fast becoming my third favourite podcast (behind Beastcast and Bombcast)

Great board gaming podcast. I've worked through a lot of the older ones because they're talking about games I know and have played.

Cheers to this. Right there with you.

I think I'll stick to The Black Dahlia Murder...

No idea, I've seen some of that too lately and I think it's the dumbest thing ever. Like whatever it is you like.

I think people of a certain age probably associate it with people they didn't like from high school? Which seems like a dumb ass reason not to like something.

Yea haha. I personally don't like them at all but don't discourage anyone for digging them. Hell man, I probably listen a ton of shit that other people would hate or find stupid, but eff it, it sounds good to me so who cares what others think. I try to keep the same attitude about games.

@aquablak: 7 Wonders is GREAT. My wife and I play it all the time. It's really simple to learn, plays pretty quickly and its a ton of fun.

I played Arkham Horror for the (2nd) time this past weekend. I've been playing board games for years now and I don't know how I never got around to playing it. I found it SUPER fun. I really love the setting and randomness that happens with it. I dig co-op games where everyone works together rather than someone quaterbacking (like in say Pandemic - which don't get me wrong, is also a great game).

I also recently bought Spelndor which is a pretty fantastic quick game for 2-4 people. Again, VERY easy to learn, 30 mins to play give or take. Really nice artwork and pieces too!

90% of the time it's the standards (not all at the same time but): Ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, bacon. I'm down with a fried egg or onion rings sometimes too though.

EVERY once and a while, PEANUT BUTTER. Yea.

I am loving this game. I knew NOTHING about it until today when I saw RPS write up something and then Alex and Austin talking about it on Twitter. Been playing for the past hour and am just kinda in awe of it. For something so simple, it's so well done. I LOVE crime procedural drama's like Law & Order and CSI, as well as reading true crime books so Her Story was right up my alley. I put this on par with something like Gone Home in terms of games that don't really break the mold, but are really something special.

I got mine mono-graphed whiskey glasses with their initials, glass beer mugs and whiskey stones. For my brother (my best man) I got him a pocket watch along with the same stuff.

From my friends, some groomsmen gifts I have gotten are a flask/Zippo combo with my initials and a really nice knife (pearl handle, nice wood finish).
