@oursin_360: Thanks. No soldering required. All the parts (buttons, stick and board) can be found quite easily online. The box/frame is all custom built using wood and sheet metal. None of it hard to do it just takes a little time and patience. Anyone can do it and it's a great little project. I will say this though, by the time I was finished I could have bought an official stick with the money I spent. But that don't matter to me because I love the design side of it and the pride in saying "I made that". What some people are doing though is buying last gen sticks and modding them with a new board and stuff.
Now when it comes to using a fightstick I have no idea. There is definitely and adjustment period but I am ass no matter what I play on. I do hope to put some hour into this one though.
The design on the first on was pretty cool but was a pain in the ass to form the plastic on the top and get the high gloss finish.
