@castiel: The first time I heard Believe was on a DW top-40 video countdown show that aired in the US for a little while. It introduced me to all that europop stuff too, Vengaboys, Toybox, Dr. Bombay, I loved all that shit. Glory days of Radio Disney too.

I thought you guys had quit, hadn't gotten an new podcast in iTunes in weeks but I just figured out you banned my VPN, which is one of the biggest ones. Not a big deal, glad you're still at it.
Is there anybody else who only engages with GOTY through this list? I mean I'll read most of the staff and a few of the guest lists but I gave up listening to the 80 hours of podcast years ago. Not saying other people shouldn't enjoy it but it started getting on my nerves and I've been happier skipping it entirely.
The stone wall physics bug me enough that I think I'll forgo the easy skill point chains. Just think of all that labor, some farmer 200 years ago pulled all those rocks out of his fields and spent ages piling them up just so, I'm not gonna just spray 'em all over the road.
And four games in Jeff still hasn't seen Top Gear? I don't know how many times I've heard him complain about the showcase races without ever acknowledging their inspiration. Not that I necessarily disagree with his take otherwise.
@cyrribrae: Thanks for addressing that, the reason I never finished the first game had a lot to do with the fact that you couldn't leave it for more than a day or two without characters dying. I got pretty close to finishing on my second or third playthrough only to lose my two best characters, causing me to want to take a break, but then it's not really feasible to rebuild. I can deal with not pausing but I mostly game on the weekends and the first version wasn't very friendly to that.
This seems inferior to all the free Android versions I've played but I'll probably buy it anyway because I think it's cute when they reveal what the picture's supposed to be at the end.
If you're going to more of these Official ... Magazine joints you should try to get Fran Reyes on for one of them. She's cool and it would be interesting for Jeff not to be the oldest person in the room for once.
I didn't see any Mario Maker in there, a tablet with no touch? Seems like a huge mistake to me. Lots to like too but since I can't imagine ever taking this out of its dock (portable controls look like garbage) I don't want to pay for the screen. Looks like a major step backwards, might convince me to finally buy a Wii U though.
