The pizza portal is the greatest carryout pizza innovation thus far
Damn right. The Little Casaerses by me never have a Hot 'n' Ready because people order 10,000 pizzas at a time. If I can press a couple of buttons on my phone and not have to wait for an hour in a small storefront of other pissed off people waiting for a $5 pizza, I'm all for it.
I like the attempt at showing the handheld performance. But, as others have said, it will take a bit more iteration
For those wondering about performance but who are too impatient to wait for a DF video: Austin tweeted about it. Seems to run smooth but there is some very noticeable pop-in.
That's probably good enough for me. I liked Dragon's Dogma when it first came out, but it ran like a goddamn slideshow on my PS3 so I bowed out pretty early.
I saw Neil Cicierega tweet that he was streaming this on the release day, so I turned his stream on and he slowly but surely was losing his shit over how good it was. You could tell when he was way into something because he'd just go quiet and leave the music on. When he hit Chowder Man he just sat there for like a minute and took it all in and promptly bought some of the music for sale on the website.
This game is fantastic.
If the Godfather of the Internet thinks this game is cool, that's all I need to know.
