This episode was a letdown for me. I didn't find the guests entertaining, or interesting, and there was a lack of games. Still looking forward to next week's show!
This would be super entertaining/interesting if the answers weren't completely random, and nonsensical. The survey is useless if people are allowed to answer any dumb thing that comes to their mind "e.g. yoshi is a horse". "What is the best soundtrack of all time?" "Banana." "What is the highest selling console of all time?" "Pocahontas."
@lepoufcelebre: I was about to say the same! I wonder if he doesn't like it because it's not his style (e.g. rdr2), or if it's because it's a disaster.
What's with this game's lighting? During conversations, the character's left ear lights up as if they were hiding a flashlight behind their ear lobe, regardless of lighting conditions.
In any case, the game seems a lot more bland than I was expecting. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong on release.
@luciddreams117: Their problems sound like a layer 8 issue to be honest. I've never had any cloud save issues on either platforms. They have so many saves, and so many accounts that they probably just get mixed up, which is understandable.
@bruno0091: Or the fact that even though Forza copied that mechanic as early as Forza 3 (maybe 4?) and still, to this day, hasn't gotten it right in the slightest. That's a high bar of incompetence.
Grid 1 is still one of the best sim-cade racer ever made. The AI, and the dynamic crashes were (still are) leagues above the competition. This reboot obviously tries to recapture that spirit (the other 2 grid weren't very good, were way more arcadey, and were lacking fundamentals e.g. cockpit view), but so far (about half way through the career) I'm not sure they managed to do so. Other than the scripted crash during the tutorial, the AI has been pretty average.
